Coping with stress

Comic Derek Wilken recommends coping with stress by cartooning your life. Imagine yourself as the star in the most unlikely resolution to a stressful scenario. For instance . . . Stuck in gridlock on the freeway? Become a cartoon helicopter and zip yourself away. Maybe your uncouth boss transforms into an overgrown ferret with a taste for cabbages and cocktail onions. Cartoon it in your head – and the raging stress goes away. Try it. It works.

Fresh set of eyes
